The attention of the Arewa Transparency Concern Group (ATCG) has been drawn to a frivolous, mischievous, false and highly embarrassing publication making the rounds on online media “DAILY NIGERIA and SAHARA REPORTERS”
“Our attention has been drawn to a publication of 5th January 2023 in the DAILY NIGERIAN and SAHARA REPORTERS and captioned “Nigerian University VC Accused Of Buying N200Million Posh Cars Without Due Process, Under Probe For Alleged N1.1Billion Contract Scam”.
It is unfortunate that an esteemed media has not got its publication right and every effort we have made to contact the Editors had not yielded positive result to state our own side of the story.

To our surprise, the unscrupulous publishers has gone ahead to include paragraphs of totally untrue matter published and posted on their online media.
As the concern citizens, hereby refutes this publication as frivolous, mischievous and totally false.
The Vice Chancellor, Professor Shehu Alhaji Musa, is not involved in any fraud rather the VC has achieved massive development and repositioning for which he is being.
Therefore the information is totally incorrect.
The general public are hereby advised to disregard this virulent false and embarrassing publication in the Daily Nigeria and Sahara Reporters.
Mischief makers, detractors and enemies of the VC and the university must realize that their campaign of calumny against the VC will failed.
KUST under the able leadership of Prof. Alhaji Musa remains a spectacular success story and nothing can change all the evidence of dramatic progress and development in the past and present.
The public should know that the online media DAILY NIGERIAN, SAHARA REPORTERS are engaged in wild propaganda, cooked up tales and deliberate falsehoods to mislead the public.
“And the said contracts awarded by the vice chancellor for the supply of office equipment and library stationery as well as the furnishing of a 400-seat capacity twin theatre, the sum of N584,591,000 which said was awarded for the supply of office equipment and library stationery, while N608,200,000 was awarded for the furnishing of the 400-seat capacity twin theatre on the university campus, the figures are not in the university book records”.
