Tinubu Administration: So Bias, Ethnic Bigot, And The National Assembly Are Weak And Rubber Stamp, says group.

“History won’t be fair to Tinubu if he betray the Northern people”

The Northern Concern Citizens (NCC),
has described the new administration of President Bola Tinubu which indicated that he is too biased and ethnical bigot.

The group accuses Tinubu of lopsided appointments from his beginning.
“President Tinubu is unduly favouring Yoruba in sensitive appointments”.

In a statement by the group on Friday, its President, Muhammad Mahmoud Imam, restated its earlier allegation against president Tinubu, describing the recent appointments as lopsided and against the spirit of a united Nigeria.

“The recent appointments indicated that Tinubu has no good plans for the country and would very soon betray the Northern people who brought him into power”.

“If you look at the the new service chiefs appointed by the president, you will discover that Tinubu is too bias and lopsided”.

“He appointed his tribe Yoruba in the key positions: Major General Taoreed Lagbaja as the Chief of Army Staff; Kayode Egbetokun as the acting Inspector General of Police, and Adeniyi Adewale as the acting Comptroller General of Customs”.

The Northern concern citizens has warned that history will not be kind to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu if he betrayed the Northern people during his administration.

“The truth is that things are not going on well and the President should come up with measures to convince Nigerians that he means well and he is truly in charge.

NCC warns Tinubu against biased appointments.

We will be therefore, advised Tinubu not to continue with biased and lopsidedness, and ensure an even spread of appointments in his administration for justice and equity.

NCC stressed that the composition of the appointees should reflect the diversity of Africa’s most populous nation.

The principles of fairness, equity, justice, and the rule of law should reign supreme in the current dispensation.

The group observed Nigeria is engulfed with the problems of moral compass, corruption, unemployment, poverty, hunger and insecurity.

“This is compounded by a defective unitary constitution; these challenges require God’s intervention”.

“And if Tinubu’s administration continue with favoritism, cronyism, and nepotism which brought Femi Gbajabiamila as his Chief of staff, the services renders to the public may be inferior”.

“The current speaker of the national assembly Rt. Hon. Tajudeen Abass, is leading a rubber stamp parliament, been answerable to Gbajamiala the former speaker and current Chief of staff to President Tinubu, because he had been favoured by both the President-elect Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the party to become the Speaker of the next House of Reps”.

“The man doesn’t have what it takes to be the Speaker”.

“Before he was imposed, selected not elected, majority had the opinions that he is too weak, the former speaker is the one controlling the legislatures, he tells them what to do.
Gbajamiala is the one in charge in the national assembly, he provided all the vehicle the elected legislatures are currently using”.

“Majority of the Federal house members have a particular person in mind that is good and equal to the task, but at last president Tinubu and co foist Tajuddeen Abbas on them”.

“The legislature is the closest arm of government to the people, the one which approximates the original system of governance in Athens and thus the one whose wellbeing signifies a virile democratic culture. It is an institution that must be protected from the shenanigans that has ruined many a public institution”.

“As the country grapples with rising poverty and inflation, primordial divisions exacerbated by the last elections, hunger, diseases, unemployment and crime, and deficit infrastructure, the leadership of the National Assembly must be people with the intellectual capacity and moral probity to be able to guide the legislature”.
